Job overview
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Teacher of Humanities, Preferably History or Religious Studies with experience teaching across Key Stages 3 to 5 to join our dedicated faculty. In this role, you will have the opportunity to inspire and engage students in the rich tapestry of historical events and Religious Studies, fostering critical thinking skills and a deep understanding of the world around them.
Principal Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in Humanities across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, ensuring that all students are supported and challenged to achieve their full potential.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued and empowered to explore complex concepts.
- Utilise a variety of teaching strategies, resources, and technologies to enhance student learning and cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Assess student progress and attainment through a range of formative and summative methods, providing timely and constructive feedback to support student growth and achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine the curriculum, participating in departmental meetings and contributing to cross-curricular initiatives and enrichment activities.
